Actors Bootcamp

We believe actors should never stop learning and perfecting their craft. It’s essential to stay sharp and ready for the next job – to this end we have started running bootcamp sessions with established casting directors in film and television, acting coaches and stage directors. Clients have found a benefit to approaching their work afterwards and have felt more confident and focused.

Some of the talent we currently work with include:

Alice Kornitzer, Artistic Director and dramaturge, Omnivore Productions  – Alice has directed plays at Soho Theatre and  Trafalgar Studios in London and has just finished directing ‘The Accidental Caregiver’ off Broadway in New York as well as ‘Chummy’ for the White Bear, Kennington.

Sonia Allam, Lime Pictures Casting Director, Catherine Willis Casting –  Sonia spent four years at Lime Pictures and has cast for Hollyoaks, Disney, House of Anubis and Evermoor. Our clients have recently worked with Sonia and some were picked for general Hollyoaks auditions including our client Felix Trench who went on to play Father Andrew.

Jeremy Zimmerman Casting Director ( Jeremy is one of the most prolific film and television casting directors working today. some of his films he has cast include: Robin Hood, Hellboy, Plastic and The Unbeatables. For television he has also cast AD and The Red Tent. Jeremy will be working with our clients in June – Jeremy cast our client Sammy Moreno to star opposite Jeremy Irons and Olga Kurylenko in ‘The Correspondence’

Ben Cogan Casting Director ( Ben was the casting assistant on many BBC shows including Holby City, Eastenders and Doctors and the main point of casting on Casualty. Ben has recently gone freelance and is currently working on features and shorts.

Max Stafford Clark Theatre Director ( Max has vast experience as a writer and director through his work as Artistic Director of the Royal Court, the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh and his company Out Of Joint. Out Of Joint produce many shows including recently Jane Wenham: The Witch of Walkern and A View From Islington North. Out Of Joint’s latest show ‘Consent’ played at the Dorfman Theatre at the National.

We have also worked with Tommy Lexen (Director: Be Frank Theatre), Rick Laxton (Casting Director), Jane Frisby(Casting Director) and Aisha Walters (Television Casting Director).

Prices will vary but average £20-£30 per session and we keep classes small.
